Prof. Michael Nwokolo is a distinguished academic and super security personnel with multifaceted professional accomplishments. He indisputably holds the record of being the first and only Professor to have served in the Nigeria Police Force since its inception — confirmed Professor while in service in 2015, and later retired meritoriously as a Superintendent of Police (SP).
As Head of the Latent Fingerprint Section, Forensic and Crime Data Office, Force Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Nigerian Police Force, Alagbon Close, Ikoyi, Lagos, he anchored Nigeria's fingerprint science for decades. He is a Professor of Sociology as well as Professor of Security Management; a Fingerprint Expert, Document Examiner, Professional Graphologist, Master Numerologist and Handwriting Expert — the first person to write a book on forensic fingerprints in Nigeria.
Today he leads Higher Learning Upliftment Limited, trading as Heritage Leadership University, as MD/CEO; is the Founder and National President of the Institute of Public Safety and Security in Work Environment (IPSS); and serves as MD/CEO of PNM Consultancy Services Limited — raising leaders of Character, Knowledge and Peace.

Born January 3, 1962 in Otolokpo, Ika North-East LGA, Delta State. Obtained the First School Leaving Certificate at Azagba Primary School, Otolokpo (1970).
Admitted on merit to one of the best Nigerian secondary schools — a Unity School established by Gen. Samuel Ogbemudia (Rtd) for the best brains of then Bendel State — obtaining the West African School Certificate in 1981.
Attended the first fingerprint course at the Detective College, Enugu and emerged first in the whole federation — earning a transfer to the Force CID, Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State.
